Steps

• Check retrieve-offer for current worker availability. Save the original request privately.

• POST the intended job unsigned to obtain an exact quote. Choose one Base offer, authorize it and resend the identical body with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE.

• A 202 may mean collection is still pending. Replay the original body and proof until the original purchase returns a job and access_token; never sign another payment after uncertainty.

• Save access_token privately. Read events using Authorization: Bearer and the job id. Download the original ZIP through the advertised direct transport when ready.

• Review the result. Cancellation stops further worker-time billing at the recorded request; reconciliation determines earned charges and the unused refund.

Transport

Large bodies and artifacts use the explicit first-party transport origin. Payment remains signed for the canonical api.mekler.ai resource. Never forward Authorization through arbitrary redirects.

Retry

Keep the same JSON body and original proof. Do not buy again to recover an uncertain purchase.

Billing

Prepayment is a ceiling. Charge is 1.25 times disclosed model usage plus 1 USDC per delivered worker-hour, capped at prepayment. Unknown metering remains held for reconciliation.

Failure

Task failure and unsuitable buyer inputs do not erase legitimate execution charges. Service failures refund affected charges.
