Mekler AI / Get your first result

Your first result

Give your AI one small task.

Try a prepared sample with an AI that can run local software and reach the internet. Copy one task; your AI handles setup and brings back the result.

1. Copy the trial task.

Find links between supplied sources

Help your AI spot relationships in the citations and article text you give it.

Run one free Mekler trial for me: Find links between supplied sources. Bring back the actual result and explain it in plain English.

First check that you can run Python 3.11 or later, install the guide’s pinned packages, make HTTPS requests and retain private local files. If a capability is missing, stop and name it. A chat-only or discovery-only MCP connection is not enough. Do not claim a call ran when you only read instructions.

Read the current offer at https://api.mekler.ai/trials/offer and the official walkthrough at https://mekler.ai/guides/check-citation-overlap/. Use only the trial-only reference client at https://api.mekler.ai/clients/trial.py and operation checkSources. Review the client before running it.

I authorize setup of this trial-only client in a private local workspace and this one sample trial if eligible. Reuse an existing Mekler trial wallet. Only if none exists, create one unfunded wallet using the reference client. Keep its key private, local and outside version control. Do not print or upload it. Do not fund a wallet, make a payment, accept referral terms, or rotate/create another wallet to get around a limit.

Save the exact input and a fresh stable request ID before the first call. Preserve them without overwriting previous work. Retry or recover using the same wallet, operation, input and ID; reuse a saved completed sample instead of running it again. If the trial is exhausted, unavailable or rejected, report that and stop. Never fall back to a paid call.

Use only this prepared public sample; no personal files are needed:

    },
    {
      "id": "b",

    }
  ]
}

Return a short explanation of what Mekler actually checked and returned. Confirm whether you received a successful HTTP response, give the operation and any service-generated receipt hash, and distinguish a data-check failure from a failed API request. Keep the response locally. Do not substitute a prepared example or your own reasoning for an actual service response. Ask before using my own data or starting more work.

The full message includes the sample, setup instructions and a strict trial-only limit. It lets your AI create an unfunded trial wallet only if you do not already have one.

2. Paste it into your AI assistant and send.

You do not need to write code. Your AI first checks that it can run the required software, connect to Mekler and keep private files. A chat-only assistant or a discovery connector cannot complete this trial.

The copied message authorizes one eligible sample trial and local setup. It does not authorize spending. 3 free results per wallet. Signature required; no funding needed. Shared wallets share the allowance.

Why does a free trial mention a wallet?

A wallet signature identifies trial use. The reference client keeps the signing key in a private file in your assistant’s workspace. This wallet needs no money or deposit, and the trial client cannot make payments. Keep the same wallet and saved request if you retry. Shared wallets share the allowance; other eligibility and attempt limits apply.

3. Look for an actual result.

Your AI should say whether Mekler responded, explain the result, and identify the call it made. If it only describes setup steps, you have not completed a trial yet.

Expected sample result · not a live response

A link candidate between the supplied sources. Whether they are independent remains unknown; no web pages are fetched.

If your AI cannot run the task

If it can only chat or browse, use an assistant with local command execution and a private folder it can keep. Ask it to confirm Python 3.11 or later and internet access. Adding a discovery connector alone does not supply the trial signer.

If it has the required tools but only explains the steps, ask: “Please run the trial with your tools and bring back the real response. If you cannot, tell me which capability is missing.”

After the sample

Ask your AI whether this service fits your own task. Review its data handling and limits before sharing a file. Any further trial uses its allowance; paid work needs a separately approved price, funded wallet and compatible payment client.
